Last week I spoke briefly on faithfulness. Today, I wanted to recap on that notion and see how you are doing with last week’s challenge. While faithfulness is something that we must seek and ask the Holy Spirit for, we must also know that we have obtained faith in our lives both consciously and sub-consciously.
The idea that we put faith into everyday normal items shows that we have put trust into something, for instance, look at your shoes, your t.v., your appliances, your vehicle, your coffee, etc. We put a great deal of faith and trust into a lot of stuff, so much so, that we suggest to our friends and family just why we have faith and trust into things. The same goes with God. God is ever more trustworthy than anything you have ever experienced in your life! When given the chance God wants to prove that faithfulness is worth staking eternity on! While most of us only seek God when things are bad, or when things look hopeless, God wants us to know that He is there faithful in the bad times just as He is in the good times as well. If you are not trusting God in all aspects of your life then you are missing out on some of the greatest moments. Don’t believe me, try asking Him! Remember, Christ gave you the ultimate gift, not for a day, a week, a month, or a year, rather He gave it to you for eternity! John 3:16-21
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 “This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
20 “For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21 “But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”
While I want you to watch this video, I want to remind you of the faithfulness challenge. If you are not as faithful as you think you can be, or if you want to grow in faith, simply step out of your comfort zone and ask God, the giver of all good and perfect things, for what you seek! I hope this video challenges you into taking that leap of faith, and not giving up. I pray you find peace this week, and God continues to bless you every one!
God is my fountain of endless faith!
